I am Madeleine English a licensed mental health counselor based in New York. I see clients in person at my office in Port Jefferson, New York and virtually in New York and Connecticut. I have been licensed for 10 years and work primarily through a CBT focus. I am passionate about working with BIPOC women who often feel misunderstood or ignored by other providers. As a black woman and a mother, I understand first hand the struggles that my clients face. 

My work with clients typically focuses on the spectrum of motherhood from pregnancy, to postpartum, child rearing, through the empty nest period. I work with women on coping with the invisible mental load of motherhood, loss of identity, and boundary setting. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at and setting realistic and achievable goals that we can work towards together.
